"One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things."     -
Henry Miller

When our editorial board originally brainstormed online magazine ideas, we debated about a wide variety of possible topics: food, travel, sports, etc. However, after considering a plethora of options, we realized that we felt most passionate about providing a glimpse into the beauty and simplicity of America’s small towns; the places we all loved. After that decision, it was easy to choose our first focus—Rexburg, Idaho, “America’s Family Community.”

It is my desire that this edition will provide you, the reader, with a warm insight into the love, individuality, and culture of Rexburg, ID.  My wish is that this online magazine will create an appreciation not only for Rexburg, but also for the myriad of small towns scattered throughout America, and for the people in these towns. After all, true beauty, hope, and light are found in the people all around us.

This website would not have been possible without the contributions of support and time from Rinnie McCulloch, Roy and Susan Gundersen, our talented contributing authors, and Brittany Baxter. I would also like to thank Mr. Rod Keller for the opportunity to create Rexburg Uncovered and for his continued encouragement and optimism.

I especially want to acknowledge and thank Aly Fort, Brigitte Harper, and Mike Scovill for their incredible dedication and support. Each of these sponsoring editors devoted large amounts of time, energy, and humor to the completion of this website. It was an honor working with such wonderful people.

And finally, I want to thank the people of Rexburg for making this town worth uncovering.

I hope you enjoy discovering Rexburg.
